Book Points - Ok what are Book Points?

Ok, what are Book Points and why should we want to know.
Book points are a way for you (club members) to purchase books, fish books, for your home library.
Here is how it works. When a club member participates in any of the EIAA programs: WAP, BAP, HAP, APAP; book points are awarded according to the number of program points awarded. Example, if you write an article for the FinFlap and acquire 6 WAP points you are also awarded 0.6 book points. Every ten program points equals one book point.
When you participate in the Bowl Show each month, again you receive a book point for every 10 Bowl Show Points.
When you enter the Spring Show you receive: one book point for each entry, 2 for best of class, 4 points for Best of Show, Best Aquascaping and Showmanship, 3 points for winning Celebrity's Choice, Runner-up Best of Show, Runner-up Aquascape, Novice, Jr. Best of Show, etc.
After a number of points have been acquired, contact the Book Point chairperson and the club will buy you books. About 2 points per $1. Your choice.
Members who take on special jobs, like President, Secretary, Exchange Editor, are encouraged to write articles to keep the members updated on club activities and through that writing they receive points via WAP.
It is a great way to be rewarded for your participatio in EIAA and to grow a great library.
Be involved - Collect Points, Buy Books!
